Cookies
This page explains which cookies and trackers are used on the SilverBack site, for what purpose, and how you can accept them, refuse them or change your choices at any time.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small file placed on your device (computer, tablet, phone) when you visit a site. Among other things, it allows the site to work, remembers your preferences, measures audience figures or, with your agreement, personalises content and advertising.
2. The cookies we use

Strictly necessary cookies are essential to the running of the site and cannot be disabled. The others are only placed after you have given your consent.
3. Obtaining your consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse the placing of non-essential cookies. Refusing is as simple as accepting. No non-essential cookie is placed before you have given your agreement. Strictly necessary cookies, for their part, are placed without consent, as they are essential to the service.
4. Managing or withdrawing your consent
You can change your choices at any time:
- through the "Manage cookies" link accessible in the footer of the site;
- through your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge), which allow you to block or delete cookies.
Withdrawing your consent is as simple as giving it. It has no retroactive effect on data already collected.
5. Retention periods
Cookies have a lifetime limited to a maximum of 13 months from the date they are placed, with no automatic extension. Your choice (acceptance or refusal) is kept for around 6 months, after which the banner is shown to you again. The information collected through audience measurement cookies is kept for a maximum of 25 months.
6. Cookies placed by third parties
Some cookies are placed by third-party providers as part of the running of the site:
- Shopify, the platform that hosts and runs the store;
- the payment providers (PayPlug), for securing transactions;
- Google.
These third parties are responsible for the use of the cookies they place, in accordance with their own policies.
